MozFest weekend events take place at Ravensbourne university located on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London. This guide is organized into four sections. Inspiring Practice from the Community A lot of handbooks, toolboxes or other publications are published all over the world. If you like it, contact the authors and tell it! Here you can find more information to our project: salto Toolbox Methods and handbooks of the youth empowerment community in Europe Download: Banner Support This toolbox has been produced with the financial assistance of the European Union.
The space or experience where your session takes place may come to feel like your homebase for the weekend. Participants use the handbook during training sessions and afterwards for review. Although publishing takes time, costs nerves and as well money, their authors did it not do this mainly for financial reasons. Erasmus+ Project Results The Erasmus+ platfom for dissemination and exploitation of project results. How different they all might be, most of them unites the mission to improve formal and non-formal learning or to empower people for democratic citizenship and civil engagement.
Competendo aims to present the good practices from the community. MozFest is created collaboratively by Mozilla, teams of community members-- called Wranglers-- who design the event and curate the sessions, and you. Trainers learn the principles of adult education and why they are important for trainers. The university specialises in digital media and design and many students volunteer at lead sessions and volunteer at the Festival. In addition to support from Wranglers, two facilitator coaches, Dirk Slater and Zannah Marsh, are available to help you prepare your session before the Festival via a series of online coaching sessions and also via the facilitator-coaching channel on the MozFest workspace on Slack. They learn how to create a positive and productive learning environment for training adults, plan and organize training effectively, listen actively, use good communication skills, give constructive feedback, and identify potential challenges to delivering effective training and potential solutions. The training is designed for three days.
